I have to let go of the resistance. I have resistance to sit and write. But as I’m sat here writing, I have to admit that it’s not the writing I’m resisting. It’s the notion that I must, that I should attend to something. That I should follow an instruction, or a rule. Even if it’s self-imposed. Perhaps: especially since it’s self-imposed.
Either way I’m writing. And I’m beginning to enjoy it because it’s beginning to be what I need it to be – an opportunity for reflection, self-awareness and moment-awareness. An opportunity for gratitude. An opportunity for perspective. An opportunity for learning. For a pause. It’s an opportunity for a check-in, check-up or proof of life signal to yourself that you’re still in the real world, and not on autopilot.
I haven’t achieved anything like what I should have achieved today and old-time management programs are going to have to be rethought. My nerves are somewhat frazzled, and I’m ashamed to admit that an old emotional program got the better of me earlier – I conducted myself in a low-vibrational manner with people who have significant and longstanding relationship with ourselves. Though I felt justified in the moment, there are better ways to show-up.
I see you, old program. I note your attempt at operation and I identify you for deletion. Again.
At least it’s thunder at the end of a day like this. And not the old sliding door.
A day like what? The words are on the page, and I am thus reminded of the significance of the present moment. Whoever you’re with, look up, smile, give thanks for them. You are blessed.
Stretch at sunrise? Feet in the water with Pepper and Sam?
Kudu Biltong, garlic snails, beef protein, espresso. Double. Lots. With coconut oil. Omegas and magnesium. Then the wheels fell off and I had 6 Tim Tams (thanks Ty) and a huge bowel of fruit salad. And a bag of Doritos. Has it stopped there?
Pushing for honesty in the nutritional department, and others.
E = S and at the moment management of E is at 20%. There are no firsts being scored here presently.
Shall report performance tomorrow.
